The REACH Foundation supports learning experiences in
Arts, Academics and Athletics at PYLUSD schools.
Since 2012, the REACH Foundation has been dedicated to enriching, inspiring and engaging students through Academics, Arts and Athletics programs. These three pillars offer greater exposure to 21st century learning skills, aiding students to REACH their highest potential. We take pride in collaborating with award-winning community partners who share our vision to elevate education and support PYLUSD students.
At the REACH Foundation, we create enrichment programs that foster innovation, imagination and intrapreneurship, empowering our High School Interns and PYLUSD Students to explore their interests, and REACH their highest potential.
Our mission is simple yet powerful: to enrich, inspire, and engage students by providing equitable access to programs that foster 21st century skills, including communications, creativity, perseverance, and lifelong learning. Through strategic collaborations with best-in-class partners and community leaders, the REACH Foundation amplifies the resources available to students, ensuring they are prepared to succeed in school and life.

The REACH Foundation, in collaboration with LifOpps Learning Labs, is thrilled to announce the launch of the Mini Money Management Learning Labs, designed to inspire the next generation of young entrepreneurs and financial leaders!
The REACH First Lego League Robotics Challenge season finished strong with the Golden Cubs placing 7th in the Robot Game, Robotic Chickens and the Deep Sea Divers placing in the top 50% of 42 teams. The F.I.R.E. S.H.A.R.K.S. earned the "Rising All Star" Award, which is representative of the all five team's excellent progress and potential to achieve excellence in their rookie year. Congrats and thanks to the students, Coaches, and parents involved.

In 2024, the Foundation is proud to support the PYLUSD Middle School Cross Country Championship on Friday, Dec. 6th at Craig Regional Park in Brea. First Race is 2:45 pm. All six PYLUSD middle schools, grades 6-8 will be competing. All spectators are welcomed!
The REACH Foundation's 12th From the Inside Speakers Panel will feature guest speakers from various careers and professions to discuss "Leadership & Impact: Driving Social Change." Join us on Jan. 10th from 6 pm - 8 pm at the School Board Conference Room.
Educator Grants in 2024-25: applications for innovative projects that enrich teaching efforts and learning activities to benefits PYLUSD students and align to the REACH Foundation's mission and goals have been submitted and are being reviewed. Watch this space for January 2025 announcements.

Our goal is to support and provide innovative, imaginative, and intrapreneurial opportunities for students in PYLUSD. Within the Foundation, students can act like entrepreneurs by developing new programs and events or support existing programs.
We believe in enriching, engaging, and inspiring all students, including the underserved and underrepresented youths.
We offer scholarships when possible in afterschool programs this fall through our STEAM Club and are excited to have From the Inside Speaker Series return for it's fourth year. We look forward to collaborating with community partners to continue to expand our programs and events.

Running Club Sponsorship for Middle School and Elementary School Teams is a great way to show community pride and encourage health & fitness. Our PYLUSD students prepare and train for the 5K or 2K with their school representative. It builds great confidence and camaraderie! The REACH Foundation is a certified President's Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) organization.
The President's Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) is beneficial for volunteers, providing formal recognition for their commitment to community service. It fosters a culture of giving back, strengthens college applications for students, and helps develop leadership and communication skills.
